Thanks for sharing, William! 👍 Already the first picture of the Minenräumpanzer III is an unusual subject and well done. "Recovering the Recoverer" is also a nice idea.

Love the Italian ones, especially the m13/40 diorama but the Kursk diorama is great as well. All is great but those is the icing in the cake on my part.

yep, love that kursk one, looks either like some weird carpet they are going through or the remnants of a ginger cat

It was a good show, about 400 models maybe more and all of them armor. the Kursk dio is in 1/72nd and the tall grass is tough to model it does look like kitty fur, i would like to attempt to do some dio's with tall grass does any body have any good ideas or photos that they can share. There was a bunch of vendors also, but the stash is big enough so i mostly got a lot of detail stuff photo etch, metal barrels and tools and supplies but i did i did get a few kits the AFV 231, CMK R-2 Tacam, Trumpy KV-1, Tamiya Steyr and a Mirage 7TP so it was a good haul

The t-34's and figures in that dio are really outstanding. And in 1/72? Remarkable job.
I need to get a Trumpeter KV-1 and, just wondering what vendor was selling the PE and metal barrels? Were the prices competitive on that stuff?

hey James, yea who ever did that kursk Dio really did an outstanding job in 1/72nd. not sure who the vendors were but there was a small selection of barrel depot, lion marc and lion roar barrels and the prices were pretty much retail

the AMPS nationals is really the mecca for armor modellers across the US the best armor modellers in the US are usually in attendance and for me provides tons of inspiration in becoming a better modeller

LOL! yes lots of hot chicks running around everywhere i one day hope that my knowledge of armor and my modelling skills will be that of the masters so the hot groupies will flock to me like a rampaging herd of elephants
