Alexander. I am grateful of your appreciation. 🙂 This kit was built some four years ago and I had it posted but deleted it, thinking it was taking up too much of my allocated space on the SM server. But I was asked to repost it and I could not refuse. hehehe My ego wouldn't let me. hahahaha 👍

Kerry , again, what a piece of art work! I love watching your builds for the Varity and your improvisional skills. I love that car and what you did!

Tim. That is wonderful of you to say those things. I thank you very much mate. 🙂 That makes it so worthwhile that my work is worth the effort. It is the personal satisfaction that one can imagine things then make them happen which really is the fun part. hahahaha. I think I am a bit loopy at time, as I will see something on the ground or in an obscure setting and I will immediately apply it to some place in one of my builds. Do Do Do do. !!!! :-o

Lovely car, seen it race and know some of those who drove this beast, the kit is good, getting scale colour is not as it was a very very Dark {midnight} Blue/Black when you were close up to it Kerry

Chris. I do believe I got the blue/black colour right, and I really had to convince myself that it did have some blue in there somewhere. LOL 🙂

Not at all. It's a pleasure to look through builds such as this. Had a look through the red rod your catalogue as well. Lovely stuff across the board!

Thanks mate. 🙂
I have had a lot of fun over the years. 🙂
I am slowing down now, as being 75, I dont have that dexterity I once had.

Previous comment should have said rest of* not red rod. 😂. I am 33 and I hope to still be building when I reach that age, my friend!! So many kits, and so little time, after all. So many subjects I'm interested in and would like to have even a tiny version of. I will consider myself fortunate indeed to have many years to dedicate to my hobby.

Album info
This was one of the most spectacular cars to appear on a race track. The sponsors (AEG) were producers of computer components from mother boards to all kinds of 'printed circuitry', and the paint job was meant to look like the printed circuitry, and these decals were the hardest thing I have ever tackled.
