Started work with the cockpit.
Added some contacta clear to the instruments for a more realistic glass look.
The seat cushions are supported with cellulose for a fabric surface.

Looking good. I've only ever used Micro Kristal Klear but i've heard it's not being made now. How do you rate the Contacta?

@Alan: this stuff is pretty solid. It does it's work but usually I glue clear parts with Mr Hobby extra thin. Works a lot better and faster.

@Alan: the Contacta works good, but it's very thick and needs a long time to dry.

Fuselage and wings are complete.
Decided to build it in a parked configuration, with flaps and slats up, hatches and canopy closed.

After a long break I had time to continue.
Started with the paintjob, using a mix of Revell and AK Real Colors.

Topside camouflage completed.
Underside first layer of AK Nato Black and for some contrast used very thin Revell 08 Black.
Looking forward to complete this bird timely.

Paint work looks great, especially the underside. On the top I think there should be more mottling, this looks a bit strange to me. Just my thoughts of course
