Decals are on. They were very, very thin and some broke during application. I could save them all except one roundel on the fuselage so I took two from the leftover box as a spare.

Okay, here it is, my finished P-40F. Matt coat, soft weathering and the last few parts are on. I am very happy with it. Enjoy!

Thank you Andy 🙂 This kit is not the same like the Kttyhawk, Special Hobby have made a new Tool in 2008 and the Kittyhawk is new tooled in 2017. This one here is from the older tool 😉

Thank you Moreno. It was a long time ago since i have worked on it. This project is open since last october. In between i had to repair two damaged models. And now i am ready to finish this beauty 🙂

tres belle réalisation j'ai fait les memes attention au motifs de camouflage special hobby aurait attendre la parution des Ailes n°2 et n°3 La Fayette nous voila ! (je plaisante bien sur) chaque appareils référencés avaient shema de camouflage différent le gc II/5 en Tunisie de Novembre 1942 a Mars 1943 si vous etes fan de cette escadrille et de la période nord africaine berna decals a sorti une belle petite planche de décalcomanie incluant les Bell p-39 et p-40 "f" in french service on retrouve le 8 blanc le 13 blanc et le 6 bleu .. de meilleur qualité que ceux de la boite special hobby . J'avoue aussi que j'ai bien galérer aussi a appliqué ceux ci j'attends d'autres photos de votre réalisation pour voir le résultat final attention aussi au couleur des casseroles il y a de gros débat en France a ce sujet
