I will use the more detailed parts of the Amodel Nr. 72137 and the decals of the Siga Model Nr. 72-M07, to build the BuNo 128579 deployed om the CVAN-65 USS Enterprise in 1963.

Thanks Stefan , but unfortunately, the fuselage halves only fit together to a limited extent. So I had to work with a lot of glue and pressure. I filled in the remaining gaps with Vallejo Plastic Putty.

Thanks Guy. After painstaking grinding work and fitting the two rotor hubs, the large gaps between the fuselage and the cockpit canopy were filled using UV adhesive.

My Piasecki HUP-2 Retriever ( UH-25B ) BuNo 128579 USS Enterprise 1963 is now completed, Next it's back to the E-2C Hawkeye after an old friend reproduced the special decals the second and last time.
