Airfix Meteor - a 1st big jet

Couldn't help myself and started another kit. This is my 1st 1/48 kit (everything built as a child was 1/72) and one of the few jets (I think I build a hawker hunter and maybe an A4 Skyhawk back in the 1980s) ever built so this should be fun.

Primed this is the hopes that the small gap at the top would be filled by paint. Nope.
