Made good progress recently, got the pre-shading and base coat down, along with gloss coat. Did some base work on the rusted out muffler covers. Not happy with the rusty covers at the moment, but I still plan some oil paint filters there that should help make that look better. Next steps are decals and oil pin washes. Not many decals planned, as many of the examples I have seen photos of didn't have much for markings when in the field in Vietnam. No heavy weathering planned at this point, think I am just gonna make it look dusty.

Pin wash is on there. It's oils so I am gonna have to leave it sit for a bit. Then its matte coat, and panel washes. Then tracks, and dusty weathering.

Repainted the rust effect on the muffler area. Much better results. Also applied a light dust wash to the primary surfaces. All I have left is to get the tracks mounted and weather the wheels and tracks.
