I have been building plastic models (with a few breaks) for more than 50 years. As a kid I built everything I could get my hands on 🙂 Over time my interests have evolved and today I build 1:48 scale models of Czechoslovak and Czech aircraft and 1:24 scale models of old cars.
I like creative handwork. That's why I build my models (mostly) from old kits or as scratchbuilding. I enjoy modifying old kits and making missing parts. I don't shy away from building contemporary models and using various accessories. But I always like to go back to my favourite old kits.
Even though I have been involved in this wonderful hobby for so long, I am still discovering new things and techniques. I still have a lot to learn and room to improve.
