@Robert That are bad news. I thought it looks nice there and also on the high-res pictures of the museum it looks great. But I do not want to ruin my model to display it in the condition of the museum 🙂
It's a real shame that my wheel painting is wrong. I only found a reference picture after the shoes were glued together.

bughunter AutorBernhard, your link does not work. But all pics I know show only the tires and not the rims.
The picture I found later shows the complete wheels of Amelias plane during maintenance, see the text here:

The DoraWings model shows also a bit of the rims.
There were tow types of tires: on thin one, and a optional low pressure tire with thick wheels and bigger wheel pants.
