David Lengyel AutorThank you Christian, I like it too - so far 😄 There's a lot of work ahead and today I noticed I am not going to use half of the parts out of the box because of aftermarket conversion sets 😄

David Lengyel AutorIt's great to be back, although I have to keep the goals of the project in my mind all the time. I mean, when I saw the conversion sets with the option of the opened avionics bay, I was in awe because of the details. It's really tempting but right there I had to say to myself STOP dude, you're not going to cut everything. Keep it simple. Oh well, sometimes I wish I would not be such detail freak 😄

David Lengyel AutorI set up the bar: build it as real as possible, that means when it should be ready to fly, drop the flaps, open the canopy, ladder, add some RBF flags, wheel chocks and FODs. Weapon load true to the real layouts (not the imaginary to the teeth which I did before break). If there's any maintenance door opened, DO NOT equip the bird with weapons, etc. Now tell me how crazy I am 😄

MarkusAhh, the joys of AMS...just don't get to the point where your quest for accuracy prevents you from finishing anything (ask me how I know 😄 ).
Looks like a good start. I always liked the shape of the L-39 and I'm sure this will be another masterpiece like your MiG-21.
So I'm leaning back and enjoy the show...

David Lengyel AutorSome say it's terrible, some say it's easy peasy to build. So far I can't tell since I am making it hard for myself wih inexperience and stupid decisions to enhance it with resin parts 😄

David Lengyel AutorInternal bits added for a test fit. I'm glad that I have proxxon otherwise I would lose my hands on it 😄 Also added internal parts of auxiliard intakes and vents and cockpit side panels.
