Filled some panels and round hatches. Rescribed new ones on the proper places. Including the GM-1 injection system filler panels on the left side of the fuselage. The fit of the new wingtips is reasonable. Needs some filler offcourse.
Used the 1/48 Bf109T-2 scale plans from the Bf109 book from Valiant wings. A very nice book for the Bf109 modeller👍

Looking good so far. I have the MPM t1/t2, which is a proper putty fiesta, so I'm afraid of building it 🙂

Hey Eric, i love the T series! And i´m eager to see what you make from the kit! was this specific plane part of JG77 in Norway?

Hi Holger, no i'm making a T-2 from NJG101. It was a training aircraft for nachtjagd pilots in Germany in 1943. The boxart is a machine from JG77 though.
Wim, succes with your MPM T-2 👍😉

Base coat added. It revealed that she needs some more work to further blend in the extended wing tips. Also take note of the carburetor intake, totally different shape on the T-series 109's

Saved this one from the shelf of doom. You can never have to much 109's

Hi Erik, interesting version of the 109, the very fine RLM 74 on the side of the fuselage like it absolutely, very nicely done.
What now comes on the faces?
I wait eagerly 🙂

Thanks mates👍. It was laying on the shelf of doom for over a year, don't know why to be honest.. It's a nice kit, old Hobbycraft sprues.
@Jens, Was meinen sie mit "What comes on the faces"? Ich verstehe die Bedeutung nicht... Sorry for my bad German 😄

Erik, sorry für mein Google translate english , die Lackierung der Tragflächen interessiert mich, darauf bin ich gespannt , das sollte Google übersetzten 😄, und da bin ich echt Neugierig, die Art Mäander hat seinen Reiz 🙂

Looking forward to the finish Erik, the T looks very good so far

Finished her a few weeks ago. Not the best 109 kit but certainly fun with the wider wings 👍. Had some problems with masking the canopy but the result is still nice enough.

Very nice 109, Erik!👍 But this beautiful model deserves some more light for its portraits... 😉

It just looks great .after all its a nightfighter scheme. So in way it is in its natural habitat☺
15 August 2016, 11:01

.... and I thought Erik was going for a "moody" atmosphere when taking the photos 😄
surprised there is no smoke machine on the go 😄 😄 😄
15 August 2016, 12:01

😄 A moody atmosphere?? Why didn't I think of that? Well, here are some lighter pictures 👍

Album info
New project, the Bf109Träger-2. This Academy boxing ain't hysterical correct but it will certainly look like an 109T-2. I'm happy to own the Bf109 book from Valiant wings, that gives me some info on the T-2 and it's differences.
I'm going for Bf109T-2 "Gelb 7" from NJG101
