Matthias, I didn't win a prize for my models for many many years, but after my first, I was more confident and I payed more attention to detail, but one day, your going to have that huge smile that no one could wipe off your face, trust me. 🙂

Hehe... Thx. for the encouraging words, Kerry. In fact I have never taken part at a convention or scale model show so I cannot win a price, eh!?😉 😛
Congratulations to you and thanks for the nice pictures. It's always a great pleasure to follow your builds and see your excellent models. Cheers!

My Favorite is pictures 16, great show and a well deserved Gold Medall for the Felixtown 👍
25 August 2015, 16:51

Choppa, That would be awesome, if fish that small existed, but who knows in this nuclear age. !!!
25 August 2015, 18:47

The standard this year at the QMHE was head and shoulders over last years, and the number of people through the door was double. It was a wonderful display all round.

...
I love it Kerry, excellent example of our model building art, very well done mate.
A most poignant moment of our history frozen in time... forever!!!
25 August 2015, 19:45

Yeah, A fantastic event, and I was proud to be part of it. 🙂 👍.
25 August 2015, 19:45

saw your Horten, did you have any others there ?
be a good fellow and point them out 🙂
Anyhow, yes you can get fish that small but one was thinking of scaling up the idea wasn't one, what what tally ho...😉
25 August 2015, 20:07

Choppa, I entered the Pratt and Whitney "Wasp", the Horten you saw, but I also put the B-17G dio in that won the "Peoples Choice". (The last two images posted here) 🙂 Pip Pip. WOT. ?
25 August 2015, 20:27

Didn't see the last pics earlier. Congrats on your well deserved award Kerry!
25 August 2015, 20:42

... well done dude 🙂
nice to see a reward for your efforts 👍
.. and more piccies, love the dioramas, pic 61 with the smoke drifting across and so many of the others
The figure of pic 40 is impressive, very well sculpted so kudos to the designer of that kit and also an excellent paint job too 🙂
25 August 2015, 20:43

Thanks Choppa, I am a very happy bloke and I was not expecting what I got. !! :-/
25 August 2015, 21:01

Guido, That is so nice of you to say all those things mate. It certainly was the biggest thrill I have had for years LOL 🙂
25 August 2015, 23:13

....... I can thoroughly recommend bungy jumping, that's thrilling too😉
26 August 2015, 01:03

like the diorama with the gun that they are pulling uphill a lot... only minor thing is that one can see the wires that make the fallen tree, but otherwise...
So much nice models on that show...
26 August 2015, 07:25

Well done mate. after the work you put in you were going to walk away with something. Some fantastic models here.
26 August 2015, 08:07

It was a brand new venue, and it was just so easy to 'access all areas'.
I am looking forward to next year. 🙂
26 August 2015, 08:23

You chose a great background story for the dio this year which maybe another reason for the award you won. I can't wait to see what you come up with next time.
26 August 2015, 08:38

Actually, the public knew nothing of the background story, and I won the award purely on it's visual impact.:-/
I wanted to place a "Story sheet" on the frame but It was something I was 'encouraged' not to do. !!
