Phucking Beautiful, I've never seen a Japanese Phantom finished as nicely as yours. Outstanding job Danumurthi.👍👍👍

Thanks, @Patrick and @Michael. I really liked their camo scheme and faded colors effect.

So, this is the Hasegawa kit, right? Where does the Academy kit come in then?

Hi @Patrick. The Acad kit has plenty of leftovers! LoL

Thank you, @Harry, @Kondrad,@Roland, and Oliver. I love their scheme. Wish I can one day do their dark blue sea camouflage

Love it! Got to see two of their anniversary birds in Misawa and Yokota.

Thanks @Daniel. That was the whole reason I took this project. I wanted to create that unique fading/ bleaching effect

Although it is a Hasegawa kit, you have made it into a dazzling Japanese Phantom ... absolutely a stunner!

Album info
Hasegawa 1/48 scale RF-4E Phantom II in JASDF livery. The Hasegawa kit is not the best F-4 in the market, but surely it's one of the easiest fail-safe scale model if anyone wants to build a quick aircraft that looks like Phantom II. Reasonably priced, sufficient details, good accuracy, poor decals, and simple construction.
I had this kit for too long in the box and the decals sadly were very prone to breaking up. For those interested, I made this video that summarized the build. You can read the video description for more details on the tools, paints, and materials I used for this project. Youtube Video
