What kind of surface treatment, re, shine, are you going to give the hull (photo 2)?

The idea is to give a clear coat before the decal and then a flat one after placing the few decals. For known reasons the Titanic does not need any weathering 🙂. Any suggestion on how to improve it of course it is welcome!
