Lots of putty, lots of sanding. Final result is good but nothing like better kits.

All rivets are done by me, because kit had very thin raised panel lines, which are also not same as on a real jet.

Lots of putty use, this part was hard to get right. It helped me to make small sockets on the inside which cannot be seen, to better fit whole part. All rivets are done by me, because kit had very thin raised panel lines, which are also not same as on a real jet.

I mixed up nose numbers, they should be tilting backwards, but it's too late for a fix up now, don't have any spares.

Does this kit have fit issues or does it go together well? Also how did you do the rivets?

It has lots of fit issues, especially at the nose part, front part was sticking out for at least 1 millimeter on both sides, and it's similar below the wings. It also has lots of ejection marks on visible parts, like vertical stabilizators which need to be filled in. All rivets are done by hand one by one, you can do it with anything pointy really 😄 for reference I've looked at Tamiya kit haha

Haha well, it's cheap, so in worst case you can try building it for practice, but if you don't have thick nerves, better avoid it haha 😄

I have encountered many of the exact same issues. Especially the forward fuselage/nose section. I too ended up chopping stuff about! So can absolutely appreciate the work involved here, it's very much a task to get it anywhere near as presentable as this, great work 👍

Neil, thank you too. Forward was hell, but in the end I'm glad i decided to give it a try, my riveting skills improved a lot 😂
