The masks are from Foxbot and actually for a MiG-29.

Sadly disaster struck and the paint crept everywhere under the masking. When I removed the masking it also took some paint with it and the bare plastic showed through. I needed months to build up the motivation to sand everything down and starting to repaint.

So, start of a new project. I really want to build a digital camouflage Su-27 and originally another digital camo MiG-29 after the ICM kit and I already bought the Foxbot masks for them.
For my Italeri MiG-29 kit I have other plans, so I decided to use the Foxbot decals for the MiG for somethign else. Thought about ab Tornado or an F/A-18 initially. But I have this F-16 kit in my stash that has no camo options I like, so ... an F-16 in digital camo it is. Much effort just to try out the Foxbot masks 🙂

So, after completely ruining the first paintjob I basically started over. I had no motivation to take any pictures during this process, because I very much doubt that the masks would work this time. I don't really know what I did different the second time, but I think it had nothing to do with the masks, but with how I used the airbrush.
Decals are a mix of the kits and leftovers from the Revell/Hasegawa Su-27.
