I am a retired primary school teacher. I, like many, built models (badly) as a child in the 1960s but stopped in my teens to concentrate on my studies and in my career as an educator.
I returned to building models in my early fifties after a hiatus of forty years.
I consider myself a mediocre modeller as I focus on the enjoyment of creating something that I am happy with.
The kits I build are WW1 and WW2 aircraft (1/32), armour (1/35) and ships (1/350).
I also enjoy watching builds on YouTube as they provide lots of inspiration, tips and ideas for my use.
