1/700 HMS Illustrious 1942

I got this set from a friend of mine. After a quick research on the armored carrier, I decide to make 1942 version instead of the default 1940 version as I really like the blue tone camouflage. Based on the Wikipedia, HMS illustrious got her first modification in 1941 after repaired bombing damage. The flight deck was lengthened during this modification as well as few Oerlikon AA with corresponding platforms.

The main reference material would be <Ship Profile vol10> and <Ship Profile vol11> as well as other internet photos from google. The armored carrier website is also a good reference site for photos and video records. The <Anatomy of the ship> for her sister is also used for reference. I will update the reference here later on.
