Bristol Beaufighter Mk.VI

After having opened the box and begun the construction, it's glaringly obvious that this kit would benefit a lot from major scratch building operation. After superbly detailed Eduard kit that I have almost completed, Tamiya's Beau seems quite sparse, even downright spartan.

But the downside is that I want to finish this before summer break and thus I have to complete it by the end of June. So, there is no time for extensive research and construction operations.

First picture of the project is the pilot (or the co-pilot, they look the same) whom I have banned from the cockpit for life. It's not only because I find it unnatural to have crew sitting in the plane when it's on ground but also because he quite doesn't look natural 🙂
Not bad details but you may understand my meaning...
