Ok, so you guys got the better of me. I started to put a few pieces together tonight. Nothing special, just dry fitting and cleaning up parts. I'll try and get some paint on, this weekend and get some pictures up.

My step mom had a 71 XKE V12 when I was in high school. I "borrowed" it once when her and my dad were out of town. Very nimble car. Fast too. Took over 120mph.

I've noticed slight changes in the USA/Europe editions, on the real thing. So basically, I have to do some subtle body changes. My issue is, the body also needs some slight filling, which means that I have to partially paint and build, the fill and sand the body, then paint the body. That's gonna be some masking tape, I'll tell ya!

I might actually get something done today. I've been taking care of my elderly mum, after she had a bad fall, so my time has been precious. She's gone staying at my brother's now, for a while, so that kinda free's me up.

Thanks a lot guys. She's a tough old girl, at 88, and never had a broken bone until now. Then she goes and fractures her wrist, and breaks her jaw in 2 places! Hospital said she'll mend, but she'll need new dentures. I know what she's getting for Mother's Day now 😉
