Mustang P-51B Bald Eagle

This 1:48 scale model was built (in a hurry) from the Monogram kit as a case study for the 1:6.4 scale flying model I built in 1983. The R/C model flew very well and allowed me to win several Belgian Championship titles and a respectable 8th place at my first entry at the World Championships in 1984. The model was brush painted with Humbrol enamels and finished with the kit supplied decals and some hand painted markings.
