My diorama of the Verlinden 1/35 Neger mini-submarine and the Fly Models 1/32 FA 330 kite, the German rotor kite. This unique observation kite was stowed in the cramped confines of the U-boat, assembled on the deck and towed aloft by the submarine, giving them observation to about 25 miles (instead of only 5 from the conning tower).
