Forgot about this one. Finally got the paint job finished. Picked up a 3d printed Buick to marry to this one. Other than that it won't be too much different than OOB

I stuck my big fat thumb on the pink part of this and didn't notice it until later so that's been taped off, wet sanded and redone. More photos soon as I begin assembly and decals.

Lol, we've all done that, at some point. Waiting for paint to dry, is the hardest. It's usually around that time, I start another kit.

Hey! I forgot about this one again. This one went into the purple pond 3 times. I just couldn't get it right. But these things do happen. 🤦🏻♂️ Anyways, it's done now. Razor sawed off the Chevrolet V8 from the transmission and pinned the Buick V6 to it. I had to sand the engine cover down quite a ways because of the Buick valve covers being higher. I also scratched some new rear wing end plates to better match the 1989 Lola. And added some harnesses to the cockpit. I always enjoy these kits.

Thanks Neuling. I believe I have achieved a color combo close to the original car at least. That pink sure pops.

In a perverse kind of way, I love watching you do these. I'm definitely not a racing guy, and if I'm honest, my car skills are rubbish. But when I see you make these, it makes me want one? Can't wait to get the cave finished, and get some new glue! Not long now, to the finish line 😉

Bozzer, these kits are just great fun!! They are relatively simple, go together well and you can add some details to elevate them. There's also so many great liveries. I just always have fun with them. You should absolutely build one. I think you'd have fun too!
