Finally got a chance to do the BF109, and when it came to it, I didn't really like the Airfix scheme. I have an Eduard kit of a similar plane so I decided to paint it using one of the options in that kit instead. I used a combination of the Airfix and Eduard decals. Quite pleased with the result 

Trying to find a decent way to present the pieces... 

Finished article. The only problem now is that the space where the Spitfire is is a little tight, but I think I can do it. Once this one is on the wall as well, I will add a photo of them both. I really like doing these, and from what I can tell they even appeal to people who have no interest whatsoever normally. No one really comments on the finished models, but they always notice the framed Spitfire...
