Hey matesβοΈ! Thx for stepping by. To be honest, quinta studios makes damn good decals π, the only difficult thing is to match the paint for the rest of the Cockpit.
The pre shading was done with a 0.2 size Airbrush, took quite a while to apply (Tamiya color thinned down to the consitency of nearly water and use of retarder).
Next week i will do the 'first' weathering, so stay tuned βοΈπ.
Thank you all for the likes and the comments and for following so far, If anybody has a question about this or other an other model, please feel free to write me.

Thank you mates, appreciate that very much βοΈ. It's been nearly thirty years since i've wanted to build this 'flying drumstick' (the Inspiration was the Box art of the Computer Game 'Flight of the Intruder' in the early 90's π). Thank you all for stepping by and leaving a comments, thx.

That's what I call having an eye for details, the panel lines are as they should be, eroded by the salty seawater. Superb weathering Tommy...!

Every praise you got here is well deserved. And the diorama as a whole is very appealing.

Tommy can you tell me how you achieved your weathering? I'm almost to that very stage on my Crusader, I have W&S umber and black oil paints, and a Tamiya weathering master B pastel kit. Would love to hear how I could apply some techniques to get this amazing finish on your A-6βit looks like a real airplane!
