Burkhard DWas the funky blue-green color used beyond the cockpit? They Russian and East German Hinds I stumbled around on the inside were all grey in the troop compartment. Not sure at all about other air forces colors though.

Frank KrauseRussian helicopters... I still have in mind how much we tanksoldiers feared and hated the Hind and I'm happy that I never had to look at one, when I still was in service.
Now as a modeller I'm looking forward to build it... once I know where I have the space for rotors 50cm in diameter.
Augie: Really good job so far! Not to forget that it is brush-painted. The only air Augie using is for breathing, right?

All we could do was to stick the yellow flagg o the turret and take a break..., because they got us... Was good to know that in real exercise they would have been on our side... 🙂

Augie AuthorHi Markus, She's not finished... still needs weathering.. Looking at all documentation i've found for the Sri Lanken Hinds the only markings they carry are Serial Numbers on tail.. which i am awaiting delivery for 🙂
