This is a rebuild of a model I built in 2000 - an Italeri Ford LTL9000 that I built as a straight truck with a resin reefer unit. The model sat on the shelf for years being damaged by either my haphazard dusting or a catastrophic golden retriever tail wagging incident. I decided to rebuild it after seeing a survivor-class Ford LTL9000 at the truck show in St.Ignace, Michigan in September.

I stripped the paint, sourced a sleeper from the parts box and modified the sleeper to look more like the type that Ford used. I changed the wheelbase and added some resin steel-type rear wheels from Kit Form Services. The decal stripes are from modeltruckers.com

I finished this in early October.
