does the CMK aftermarket much better detail than the kit? curious about it. I actually got the specialhobby kit but.....

The kit turret has nearly flat surfaces with little or no details, CMK shows all the hatches and closures, also the barrels are way better than the kit ones. Maybe the SH kit part looks better than the one from KP.

Between 1972 and 1987, the 7th Squadron of the Spanish Navy operated eight Bell AH-1G Huey Cobra attack helicopters. The first four were donated by the USA and arrived in Spain in 1972, four more were purchased by the Spain Navy and arrived in 1973.
Until 1980 four Cobras were lost due to accidents, killing five crew members.
The last four helicopters continued flying until 1987.
Three airframes went back to the USA and Z.14-08 is preserved today in San Fernando.
Z.14-02 / 007-2 / cn 21051 was one of the four donated and later returned airframes, it was or is now preserved as gate guard at Camp Humphreys, South Korea.
