Upper-Lower Hull mating, maintaining hold with a hair tie 

Thin mouldings experienced some warping, which required correction by filling 

Build completed 

Undercoated in Tamiya TS-68 Wooden Deck Tank - Admittedly not the most historically accurate choice 

All-over sludge wash using Tamiya acrylics thinned with X-20A 

Initial highlights and basecoat tidy-up prior to clear coat and decal application  

Proud to say this is the first time applying decals where I knew what I was doing... 

Post-decal weathering and highlighting - The kit was revisited with a sandy desert base constructed of plaster (Spakfilla) over balsa, however the base finish was not satisfactory and later reworked to improve the texture
