A Bit 'o Lace

Painting wood effect - light brown/cream base 

Dark brown oil over the top 

Varnished in with Tamiya clear orange 

 

 

 

 

Miss Lace is the top pair of fuselage halves. You can see that the starboard waist gunners window has been moved to be parallel to the port one. On the bottom pair you can see the unmodified staggered gun positions. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

White sprayed and “K” masked  

Green bands masked 

Wing navy blue chevron masked 

Yellow on  

Aluminium rudder masked 

 

 

 

Black rectangle masked and sprayed
