@Maarten
I was not sure if it is allowed to post a swastika pics, so I brushed it out but only on the pics. On the model the swastikas are present. Of cource, the airfix's decals didn't include them. I bought additional.

@Tony. I believe it varies from country to country. Just got a Messerschmitt Bf 109 zvezda by post, and comes from a store in Germany. The decal swastikas are with a black Eddingmarker crossed. But if you looks on the internet there are many models with Swastikas so I think its no problem

The swastika has a long history dating back to the Indus valley civilizations. Good article on its history:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swastika
The 45th Infantry Division of the US Army used a yellow swastika on a red background as their unit symbol until the late 1930s. It was based on the use of the symbol in Native American culture. Good article on Western use:

I agree that you needn't worry about posting pictures of the model with the swastika. If that was a problem, we would have to remove all the pictures of Finnish Air Force planes! Speaking of Finland, apparently the Air Force still uses the swastika in certain places (from the Wiki article).

No no no, that is not an Airfix kit!!! It looks too nice!! Good job.

Have you seen the new Airfix releases, Dave? They're a whole different animal than the 60s/70s/80s Airfix kits. Their new tool P-51D almost rivals Tamiya's, at a much better price...

Hi, i think we are all grown ups and all know what a huge page in history it represents, it cannot be hidden or airbrushed away
keep up the great models
in a way i think the military models we build pay homage to the people who were there

Dave, they released the new tool 109E - kit A01008 - last year. Have a look at this review:

This year, Airfix released the tropicalized version as well. These are excellent kits! And the price is crazy cheap! 🙂 🙂 🙂
