if only the model included the accordion dude........
good luck with the build, must try some armour myself one day, looks fun
16 June 2013, 10:28

Hey Augie, its looking good! What kind of track is included? Vinyl?
16 June 2013, 10:35

Nice start, Augie! 👍
@Holger: Tracks - both types: perthmilitarymodelli..umpeter/tr00356t.htm
16 June 2013, 10:42

Aha, thats why i was a lil bit confused! Thanks Frank!
The vinyl ones dont look so bad but the others, too! Which one would you choose?
16 June 2013, 10:45

I think i´d go with the vinyltracks. They dont need to get cleaned from ejection pins.
16 June 2013, 10:47

As its gonna be weathered.. its going to have to be the others.. i have some ideas for weatehring rust
16 June 2013, 10:53

Really a nice kit, Augie. But if I remember in the right way you have to widen all the holes in the wheels with a drill. Fitting will become better...
...and don't use the vinyltracks...😢
18 June 2013, 19:40

Hehe thanks Mike,I'll remmeber that when it comes time to wheel it 🙂
18 June 2013, 19:44

And Updated piccies.. base coated delcaled... ready for the dreaded weathering
29 June 2013, 20:01

And more progress..
Washed.. and pinwashed.. then some streaking added..
30 June 2013, 17:25

Wow what a monster!!!
And all brush painted???
Unbelievable, truly stunning!
30 June 2013, 19:53

30 June 2013, 20:09

Fine results, Augie.
You are the only female modeller I know, who tackles Monstermodels in that skifull manner as you did.
5 July 2013, 11:29

@ Kim :- Thank you kim, I hope it would compare well to your KV-2 once done
@ Dirk:- Thanks Dirk, what can I say I love a challenge.. 🙂
Monster Update comming, I've been busy with some pigments..
5 July 2013, 17:57

10 July 2013, 23:11

Some more work.. from turret ring back to the rear in an evening..
Figure.. 3-4 days more on weathering this.. then the tracks.. then the rest.. god help me..
11 July 2013, 22:13

Very Nice job! Is that word on turret decal or it's hand written?
11 July 2013, 22:24

Its handwritten.. the decal version which came with the kit disintegrated as soon as i tried to put it on
11 July 2013, 22:27

Can I ask what colour green you used? I see you use revell acrylics. How do you find them?
12 July 2013, 07:09

Thanks guys 🙂
Paul, its painted in humbrol 117 the acrylics I do use but they need watering down
12 July 2013, 12:04

17 July 2013, 17:49

17 July 2013, 18:04

Thank you for the kindness i am already trying to improve me now, cool tec ways, outstanding lines and pureness. god blesh you Flefo
17 July 2013, 19:21

I think yo can do it,this is just so fine, i cant wait to see and learn more
28 July 2013, 09:12

Hi Augie - I know the problem with the wheels. Open the holes from the wheels with a drill. Fit and assembling will become much more better. Nice progress so far.
28 July 2013, 09:31

thanks guys
Mike: Mine fit ok, didn't need drilling oddly just the weathering lol
28 July 2013, 10:22
