Album info
Every year the 1941 Historic Aircraft Group puts on a warbird show just south of Rochester, NY. The setting is their grass airstrip nestled in the one of the valleys of the surrounding farmland. The bucolic setting and the mighty warbirds makes you think you're in the Jolly Olde England during the war. You just need some rain and fog! Luckily, we had none of that this year, in fact it was 96 deg F the day I was there. I missed the morning displays due to a localised disruption in the space-time continuum (i.e. I was late)! Enjoy the photos!
