Nice detail on the base. I like your eye for the small things that brings a lot of live to a scenerie!

Base is looking fine, very nice detail, if one should say that is was a larger scale I would believe it

No.. I ducked up the plane, propably will by a new one and make it. Base is still all intact and away from dust. 🙂
I tried to make some weathering but that tehnique didnt work as well as I wanted, so its all just ugly dirty now. I will buy another LaGG-3 when I got to the shop and use these chassis that I made. Also all gun barrels will be replaced and I will make the cockpit propably.
Thanks for asking😉

Hey Edgars, you've been really quiet lately, been on holiday ? 😄

Hey Choppy, nope, school all the time. I've been posting my modelling updates on Facebook, but I don't have much finished work at the moment.😉
I'm working on quite a bit of models, mainly 1/72, haha.. 😄
I promise, I will post some pictures tomorrow! 🙂

Album info
So made this little base vignette for my LaGG. I made it on top of PB jar lid, very simple, stable and pretty high base with lots of space. At first i made a base level from DAS modelling paste, then coated up grass flock and cut a hole in it where to put my own made planks, they were cut up from 0.5mm plasticard. Painted and weathere with lots and lots of colours, washes and pigments. I made a lots of accesories too, like paint bucket, stairs, seats, tables etc. Fuel barrels are from Brengun, but everything else is my own made.
