Great plane! It remindes me of a plane in a Herge comic strip story book. 🙂

Hanno, from the photo seems that the silver paint you used, has a "matt" finish. I'm wrong ? And if is right, how you do it? (I have many kits that I would want to do with the "matt silver" ;P )
26 March 2015, 09:35

Hi Christian, that matt look is probably due to my lack of photographic skills...😉.
It has in fact a top coat of Gunze acrylic gloss clear. The Revell aluminum I sprayed underneath has a rather
" semi matt" effect when sprayed, so you might want to try that on a test sheet. But could`nt you use a matt
clear varnish ?
26 March 2015, 09:52

Thanks Hanno, I have never tried with the matt spray because one friend of mine, good model maker, has dissuaded me because the results would not be good...but to this point a test I'll try with a test 😄

Yes, givin'it a try does'nt do no harm. I never had any issues with it, actually it helps to blend the decals nicely into the surface, and provides protection as well, so I'm always looking forward to this " finishing touch ". ( Btw, the aluminum was from Revell Aqua)

Thanks Christian, yep me too, I'm not into camo at the moment. Found some very colourful paintschemes
for the civlian version of the Ju 86, very tempting " !

Danke Dir ! Die " fliegerische Pause " vom Bootsbau macht mir echt Spaß , und die alten Airliner sind wirklich
'ne Augenweide. 🙂

Wunderschönes Modell! Einmal eine Abwechslung- und eine echte Augenweide...

Vielen Dank, Roland !
@ Bernd: na, ne Ju F 13, das wär doch auch mal echt was außergewöhnliches !

Wow, very good Model. I like the He 70.
Wie ist die Qualität von dem Modell?
1 April 2015, 15:14

Thx Andre !

😄 Dann lass Dich mal verführen, bin schon gespannt !

Hehe, Andre , Du hast doch auch`n Herz für Exoten ! Wenn ich Deinen super Huma Wal so ansehe ...😢
2 April 2015, 17:59

@ Andre: 🙂 Wie jetzt Huma Wal ??? Gibt es da Bilder von ? Es fragt ein bekennender Huma Junkie...
2 April 2015, 18:50

Erwischt, Hanno! -🙂

I think you already answered this (auf Deutsch) but how is the quality of the kit (in English)? I've had my eye on it for a while, you've done a great job with yours! 👍
3 April 2015, 15:45

Thank you Bill ! The overall Quality is quite good, fit is allright, very little filler is needed. For some reason ICM decided to divide the lower half of the wing into two seperate parts .Panel lines are very fine and easily overpainted. Decals are good, but very vulnerable. I ordered a canopy from Steelwork Models in
Berlin, because I ruined the one furnished with the kit. There is a complete conversion kit available for the military version, including canopy and instrument panel decals, from the same source.
I would really like to see your interpretation of this one ! 🙂

Hi Hanno
