Mike...I was about to build a version of this kit myself. It's like we showed up to prom wearing the same dress.
Back in the stash it goes.
You didn't even have the decency to do this build poorly. It looks better on you anyways. Love it!

Fantastic looking 110 Mike ! Your way of weathering and chipping is admirable, did you use a sponge to apply the dirt and dust ? I can' t really figure out how, you've achieved that...... 👍

You really captured the look of that weathered black. Really spectacular! Hard to believe it is 1/72.

The balance of your color work is unbelievable Mike👍 - time and time again!😮

Thanks for the kind comments! 🙂
@Michael The scheme is actually RLM 72 (a blue-green) over black, with just the undersides left in the original colour.
@Hanno A sponge was used around the wing-roots, and then I added hundreds of dabs of watercolor over the airframe to break up the solid colour.

Album info
Profipak version with additional Eduard resin gun-nose and wheel sets. Absolutely gorgeous kit, only the fit of the engine nacelles to the wings needed a bit of finessing.
