I almost missed this one - it's a nice "Hornisse". Did you use Revell Aqua Colors? There is a hint of a bottle in one of the pictures.

Hi Thomas, thank you for watching! Yes, except for the underside, where I applied Humbrol enamel.

Thats indeed a nice one! Cool work on the canopy. Would you consider to give it a wash?

Hi Holger! It had a wash 🙂. Perhaps it needs a stronger one in the upper side. Thank you for watching.

Thanks Gustavo - I used Revell AquaColor only once and had to thin it with about 75% Tamyia thinner for airbrushing. But the color has a nice flow and gives a smooth finish. I asked because your close up fotos also show a very nice and smooth finish. Did you apply a clear coat on top? If yes: also Revell?

A very nice and clean build of a rare bird. I think this one would come out much better if You use a neutral background for your pics. Cheers mate!

@Augie, Clifford: thank you mates!
@Holger: No problem! Your suggestions are always welcome! 👍
@Thomas: that's true, Revell AquaColor paints are usually very dense and need to be thinned a lot for airbrushing, but the finish is quite good. I applied a clear mat coat after a Future-like local product (Blem Autobrillo) and decaling, but it's a locally manufactured paint, "Eureka Barniz diluyente", that is really very good, and cheap.
@Christian: Thank you very much! You are right about the pictures. I usually take pictures under natural light, but I took these while there was a very bad weather, inside, with flash. And this didn't help with the final quality of the pictures.
