I added some extra detail to the interior sides.
I used a mix of oil paints diluted with turpentine over an acrylic primer for the wood texture. The kimt was painted overall with Humbrol 65. Then I use a mix of pastels diluted with turpentine and an old brush to achieve the texture of the particular hand brushed camo scheme of the third prototype.

Kerry COXI really think that Valentino resents Marque's ability, as Marquez has just ridden circles around him and all the others. I think he will be more times world champ than Valley. 🙂

Erik De SmetSorry Gustavo, but the Albatros of Werner Voss had a swastika on its fuselage, not a white cross - you can find plenty of pictures of that on the internet. Revell modified the decoration to avoid trouble with German interdiction of use the Nazi symbol (the tilted swastika). Of course, the swastika of Voss and Lothar Weiland on their Albatros biplanes were no nazi symbols. In my opinion this deviation of the "historical" truth somehow spoils an otherwise excellent scale model.

Gustavo Antonelli AuthorHi Erik, thank you, I'm aware of this fact, and that the original symbol is almost 12000 years old. I also evaluated building my own decals, as I did many times in the past. Perhaps I will do at some moment in time.
