Well, after 2,5 months of sweat and tears its finally ready, and the result looks like a He 115. I really like the business apporoach of Special Hobby to deliver less popular subjects at the cost of all the downsides of the limited run genre. Modeling experience is not useful here but a must have. Anyway after all this fiddling i started a Tamiya Wildcat yesterday 🙂

Some more pics would be really great.
Is it really that "bad", because I also heard nothing really good about the fitting and so on?

Thanks, I do plan to take some more pictures, but some natural light would be great to do so! The kit is not bad at all, but: 1. fitting the floats without any locator pins is a tough challenge 2. fuselage and wing joints consumed excessive amounts of filler 3. creating all rivets was damn boring. The overall fit otherwise is a satisfactory taking the moulding tech into account. Working on the various effects on such a huge 'canvas' as the wings of this one and creating the faded winter camo was pure fun, that ballanced the deal well enaugh
