Very interesting, Following !

Take a seat Clifford. I have closed the fuselage and glued the wings yesterday. It's a great Tamiya kit. Everything was fitting together perfectly & the mold ejector mark are in area where you will never see them.

Great work thus far Guillaume 👍 I got this one in my stash and your build is a great motivation to put this kit a bit closer to the work bench 😉

Thanks Sebastian. It's a very enjoyable kit to work on. Make sure you reverses enough space on your shelf as this one must have largest wing span of all my twin engine aircraft 😉.

I really need to pick up on of these. Looking good Guillaume. Can't wait to see the next steps.

Merci, thank you! I'm happy with the paint job. For once I manage to have the pre-shading showing through the Tamiya XF-11. Unfortunately I got one small air probe part M.I.A. . I have attempted a few Search & recue missions, but I fear It got lost under my backyard deck & might be lost in the dirt and gravel.

Hallelujah! I found the lost part in the dirt (pics: 44 & 45).
Thanks for the nice comment Clifford

I've experiment with oil paint on the whole surface. The effect is subtle, but quite nice, I'll integrate this process in my future builds for sure. This time I had to re-mask the canopy so I could apply a clear coat over the oil paint.

It looks great, I want to do one of these now, but I think it has been discontinued.

Thank you Clifford. YOU can try this place for Japanese kits. They have very low prices, but shipping will be higher.

I have bought a couple of kits from them. The shipping wasn't that bad and you can find stuff you can't find here.
