TreehuggerI like the matte fabric, but I think you can improve the result by adding the highlights more subtly (imo, ideally more random highlights). Something I've been thinking about myself. I have not worked on figures though, but I know that I must avoid ending up with a glossy textile fabric. 🙂

May I ask which paint you used for the grenade handle. It has the perfect nuance I look for those shovels and globally tools with wooden handles.

@ Olivier: the grenade handle is first painted
with Light Brown acrylic paint by vallejo after that a apply a dark brown oilpaint with a faded effect to create a wood effect.

Michael OsadciwIt's always cool to see someone else's take on something I've built too. I love the paint job and weathering. I hated putting the running gear together on that kit. The road wheels always looked too wide for the tracks no matter what I did. How was it for you?
