Dragon El Alamein Sherman Mk.II

 

 

Well, short of a bit of tweaking the photo etch sand screens are on. Bloody hell, this is a step up for me. 

Slow progress through the photo etch sand skirts and rails, but progress is progress. Not my favourite part of modelling.  

Finally, photoetch complete. A few handles on the hatches abd ready for primer. 

Airbrushed base colour and then brush painted the gist coat of the basic disruptive pattern.

Retrieved out of on hold box, repainted base layer as thought looked too thin making it look green and then repainted/touched up camouflage because has a few airbrush issues. Pretty happy with the result of pain pain hand painting cammo. No just seeing if I can get some decals from Dragon support? Toro if not. 

Managed to get some decals and get them on. They’re just settling in now
