This was a 2021 Build, out of the box with addition of Tamiya Tiger II photo-etch grill set that came with spider-web anti-aircraft MG-34 gun sights- This was a really enjoyable and fun build. Paints used- all Tamiya XF, Vallejo pigments and and acrylic model washes, Tamiya panel liners. Unit depicted 1st SS Division, Battle Group Peiper: 3 color camouflage in "Hunter" scheme 3-color applied with a trimmed down old brush (I just finished a Tamiya Jagdpanzer Lang 70, and used a cut toothpick to apply the dot pattern- with excellent results). De-Canted & airbrushed Tamiya TS-13 gloss coat applied before decals, Testors Gloss clear coat applied over decal work, followed by dry foam "chipping" using Andy's Hobby Headquarters formula for TRACK PAINT of 70% RED BROWN XF-64 + 20% FLAT BLACK XF-1 + 5% FLAT RED XF-7, which does fabulous double duty for late war German vehicle chipping. Tamiya Dark Brown & Black pin wash followed; Vallejo European Earth acrylic wash used on the entire model- and as a Binder for the various Vallejo earth & Rust pigments. Light Brown Tamiya panel liner used on the exhaust for 3-Vallejo Rust blend pigments. Stretched Sprue was used for the light "wiring" - which I find to be a Much Better and in scale application (cheaper as well) than copper or lead etc.
