Guillaume Blanchet AuthorThank you guys. It's the first time I build a car. The hardest part was to not touch the model for 12 hours after applying the clear. The Tamiya gloss clear seems to take longer to dry than the mat clear. At my first attempt I had applied finger marks all over the body. Since I needed to do some paint touch up to match the decals, I sanded the finger print down and re-applied the clear.
I'll polish the clear a bit today and apply the "stickers" (as he says) with my son this weekend.

Guillaume Blanchet AuthorDecals have been applied last weekend. I learn something new. If there is glue residues under the decals. The clear coat can make them drip leaving white stripe of dirt on your model.
Not that bad since the car has a busy livery, the stripes are not that easy to notice + my 4 year's old doesn't mind them at all.
