Glue bomb snow plow

The previous owner wasn't the best with glue. He even managed to glue the rear gate shut

You can see right here, how much glue he got on the gate. I couldn't save the hinge pins.

I managed to paint the engine blue, and the chassis semi gloss black. Transmission appears to be something that I must've been playing with, at the time? My memory isn't giving me any clue though.

While trying to fit new pins in the gate, I snapped the hinges. The plastic was weaker than I expected. So, I made new ones, with brass pins.

This is just a distraction while I wait for some things to dry, etc.
The basic rundown, goes like this...
I picked up this kit in a bundle. It had been started and the previous owner even tried to paint some of it. Needless to say, I have my work cut out. That being said, this has been on my shelf for a couple of years now, after taking the engine apart and stripping all the parts of any paint. Thankfully, he hadn't touched any of the body. This thing has some hope, after all.

Cool. I too have this kit as a glue bomb 😄 The predecessor glued the hood shut too (and the rear gate of course). Good: (s)he didn't paint the body.

It's a pretty robust kit, and it definitely has some weight to it, Christian. Only the hood mounting, let's it down, really. With a little tinkering, I think that we both, could make it better 100%
