This should become a 190 F-8 from Piacenza in the camouflage shown on the boxart. I make this one for a friend who fell in love as he saw the scheme. For being an intermediate-project, i´m gonna build it oob due to the lack of time till his birthday comes. Ok, some PE-Belts will get assembled and i´m sure, i have some matching resinwheels anywhere... First of all, it should be fun!!!

This is, what it should be! But i have to hurry a lil bit, the birthday comes near... And i´m looking forward to make the mottling-camo with my new airgun🙂.

THX guy´s, i´ll keep you posted😉
But i´m not sure about the green RLM mottlecolour. Revell printed the RLM coloures in the instuctionsheet but only in black/white and im not sure, should it be RLM 70 or 71 or 76. Fortunately, my friend has no dust about RLM´s, so i can make it my way... 🙂

76&79 is was my thought, too. RLM80, hmm possible, sounds like a good choice to me!THX

I´d like to spray the cockpit in RLM66 and the gearbays in 02, what do you think?

Very nice subject Holger. Schlachtgeschwader aircraft are a favourite of mine. Have a look in your email for something related you will like!

Aghis, they are my favourites
too but it isn´t easy to find good references.

If you are looking for something in particular let me know, maybe I have something to offer. I 'll be happy to help, if I can!😉

Hey dudes! The cockpit is finished and fitted into the fuselage. Winghalves fit together very well but they dont fit good to the fuselage. Thats is a spot to put putty on! But i´m convinced that i can finish the model in the scheduled time! 🙂

Thx, Urban! Actually its a joy to build! Some gaps at the wingroot/fuselage but with a bit of filler it will work for me...🙂
23 November 2011, 13:23

Think ya could have avoided those gaps by taping wingtip to wingtip acros the fuselage, catch me ??
23 November 2011, 13:37

If i do it in this way, the wings will extremly have an wrong angle!
23 November 2011, 13:54

The gap is nowhere wider than 0,8mm and the construction itself is pretty strong. So i think filling with putty would be enough (I hope so!)...

Sweet 190! I would suggest to replace those mg151's with brass rods or tubes (if you have any handy).

Hey guy´s, most of the paintjob is done. It was heavy fun to replicate the camo! Pix will follow tomorrow... 🙂
