Hawker Tempest Mk.V

I was quite happy with the chipping and weathering effect which I was testing. There might be too much of it, but I learned about the method. Pilot figure that I decided to use was sitting too low. Maybe different figure would be better or then use a parashoot or something on the seat. There was a dent on the canopy. I ordered new one from Revell, still waiting for it. I change it when I get it. I didn’t build this gear down, although kit was designed that way. I noticed that gear wells were quite very difficult to build. Gear covers didn’t fit well at closed position. I had to do lots of sanding and filling and I wasn’t really happy with the fit. After all it was a nice build and great looking model.
