Bismark battleship - And some "What if"

I started this project years ago. This category - the ship building - is out of my comfort zone, so that was the reason to start this project. I was curious. But because of the same reason I have struggled a lot, had no idea, was lost so many times, so I put off the ship to rest a little. Some days ago I pulled myself together and continued the work. My plan to finish this hundred years war. The color is a little bit fictional. When I started the project, I painted it party with the black and white stripes. After that I thought the yellow turret top will be much more interesting, but I hesitated to repaint the hull simply grey, therefore I have a historically inaccurate Bismarck painting. Usually I keep in mind to be as realistic as possible, but things change. 🙂

The ship has reached the state where I can say its finished.
I made a walnut and brass stand as well for the ship.
