Hey everyone! I started doing this in January after I was given an Airfix starter kit by my boss in the secret Santa at work, little did I know that he had been modelling since he was a child! A firm friendship has followed and I have finally found a hobby that I love. In eight months I've made about 20 models in various scales, mostly war planes, and I feel that I now have all the basic skills sorted. I'd like to step it up a gear though in terms of realism (my models all seem too look like very accurate toys!) and thought this might be the best place to start. Any suggestions, tips or guidance would be well received. I'd also like to join a local club so again, any advice would be appreciated.
