I have just returned to model making after a break of about 15 years. It's great for me as there are now so many more manufacturers in the market. I'm mainly interested in 1/35th scale AFV's although I have in the past built aircraft and space models. I'm now discovering Trumpeter and AFV Club kits for the first time!
Many of my old models have been in storage for 20 years, so I've been looking to see if any can be salvaged. Unfortunately, while I can carry out repairs of any broken ones, the clear Humbrol varnish on those with white or light finishes have yellowed quite badly and it's probably not worth repainting them. On the bright side, I can now go shopping to build up my stash!
